Antiquity shelf. A place for author-level custody: poem records, restoration by citation, textual witnesses, and the materials around the structural imagination that later systems inherit only in part.
§1 — Shelf Note
Why an author page belongs here
Shao Yong belongs here not only as a name in lineage, but as an author whose work shows how pattern, number, history, and cosmological reasoning once moved together.
This shelf gives Historical Present a way to handle antiquity authors without flattening them into citations alone. The figure, the poem, the transmission record, and the later scholarly witness can remain linked without being collapsed into one thing.
Historical Present records are an ongoing project to recreate artifacts like this by citation. Reach out to us for more details on our efforts to assure inheritance does not survive only as rumor or citation fragments.
